With over 15 years of experience transforming people functions across fast-growth, complex organisations, she has seen what happens when HR is done well — and when it really isn’t.

 

Sarah-Jayne has:

  • Built HR teams from 3 to 16

  • Supported growth from 350 to 1,000 employees

  • Delivered global learning and talent strategies

  • Led organisations through acquisition

  • Designed award-winning early careers programmes

 

She is known for being:

  • Straight-talking but kind

  • Commercially sharp

  • Pragmatic, with a hands-on delivery style

  • Obsessed with clarity over complexity

  • Practical — always practical

 

Before launching Grigg HR, she has led global talent and HR transformation across organisations including YouGov, Methods, Aston Martin, Dreams, Deluxe and multiple international brands.

She is also an accredited psychometric practitioner (MBTI, HBDI, Insights, Thomas International, SHL, McQuaig) — using data and behavioural insight to drive real leadership impact.

But when asked what she is most proud of? Turning HR from “the policy police” into a trusted, commercially minded partner that leaders actually want in the room.
